AWARDS LUNCHEON KEYNOTE SPEAKER

John Westley McClarty is Court of Appeals Judge for East Tennessee and has served as Juvenile Court Referee for Hamilton County, Special Judge for Chattanooga City Court, and Hamilton County General Sessions Court.  He has held several positions with law firms including being Senior Partner with McClarty and Williams and Sole Practitioner of the Law Office of John W. McClarty.

McClarty holds degrees from Southern University School of Law and Austin Peay State University and is the recipient of numerous awards that include the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Citizenship Award and the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating.  He has served on the boards of several organizations including the NAACP Official Board, the Greater Chattanooga Community Service Board, and the Hamilton County Police Department Civil Service Board. In 1986 he was listed in the Fourth Edition of Who’s Who in American Law.
