The MLK Memorial Tribute Service culminates the
MLK Memorial Parade and will feature Reverend Dr. Charles E. Goodman, Jr., as Keynote
Speaker.
Reverend Dr. Charles E. Goodman, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor/Teacher of the historic 3,300+ member
Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, GA, a position he began in December of
2006 at the age of 27. Some of the great pastors
and preachers who preceded him at the Tabernacle Baptist Church include Dr. C.
T. Walker, Dr. C. S. Hamilton, and Rev. Otis Moss III.
The Martin Luther King Holiday
Celebration Choir, under the direction of Mr. Aaron Staple, is a dynamic
community choir featuring extraordinary vocalist and provide a musical tribute
during the Memorial Service. Also,
during the service, there will be presentations of several special MLK awards
and recognitions.
This special service is open
to the public without charge. The
